How Geoffrey Horowitz started their logo design journey
Claims International, Inc
I have been a public insurance adjuster for over 25 years. The core of what I do is represent business owners and homeowners against their insurance companies in the aftermath of a catastrophie. Fire, Natural Disaster, Bioterrorism, Environmental Hazard, Explosion, Collapse, Flood, Vandalsim, Etc.
My firm has experts on staff to review your insurance policy and determine coverages. We also, inspect physical damages, list the contents and investigate lost revenue, all of which is packaged and presented to the insurance company. It's more complicated than that but I just want you to get some flavor.
I'm someone that loves color. While I'm not a fine artist in the true sense, what I do has been described as a true art form by my collegues and clients.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
New and existing markets. We are a progressive firm. We can mobilze and have handled claims in every region of the United States (and many around the world).
Attorney's, Accountants, Insurance Brokers/Agents, Real Estate Dealers are the kinds of folks who refer us to new clients. It's tough because people will only have a need for our services after they suffer a loss. Given that, when someone they know has a loss they'll tell their friend or loved one "you have to hire that guy".
We have handled high profile World Trade Center terrorism claims and we have handled residential pipe breaks. It's quite a gamut but we don't descriminate.
In the past we have had a Globe as our logo and used purple and green as the primary colors. I'm not attached to that but want the international presence to felt.
I want it to look cool, clean and speak to more that just an insurance claim.
