This is my first time using 99designs and would I use it again? ABSOLUTELY!! I had 34 x designs from about maybe 15 different designers. It was incredible to see the different designs put forward from designers all over the globe. My only criticism is the designers need to also understand that they maybe on the other side of the world and as such there is always going to be a time delay in getting answers to their questions due to the different time zones we all work in. Some of them are very eager to win the job, so they get a bit demanding with their repeated emails and contact requests. Paul.Phoenix who won this project delivered almost everything i wanted to see in his first concept. Great job and congratulations Paul.
How Jen71 started their logo design journey
We're a group of families who love having a few chickens in our backyard. The fresh eggs & fun that a few pet chickens provide is a great value for people everywhere. We've written a resource guide specifically for other families who want to know everything they need to know to get started with backyard chickens. We want our logo to project a fun, modern approach to having pet chickens.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We'd like to appeal to average families with children who are looking for a pet who can make their breakfast! :)
We want a fun & modern logo to represent our site & guide on our website, Facebook, and Twitter.
A lot of the other chicken related sites online have very old fashioned logos. I need to stand out from the crowd - be easily identified - and look like the market leader.
1) Nothing too cartoony - I don't want a silly, goofy cartoon chicken.
2) I imagine the name ChickensGuide.com would be used in the logo. However, if you can come up with something amazing that doesn't include the name, I'm open to that as well.
3) The font used should be clear and easy to read.
