brent.w got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Cannibal Logo Needed

Would like "Tasty Parts - Bone Cheap" added as an option to the logo. Should be able to remove it with no issues.
We buy used dirt bikes (motorcycles) and ATVs (4 wheelers), break them down into parts, clean those parts and then sell them all over the world. We "cannibalize" existing bikes to help get broken bikes running. We are growing quickly and would like to update our original logo. Recently we came up with the tag line "Tasty Parts - Bone Cheap" to play off the cannibal theme and would like the logo to do the same. Would also like the logo to subtly tie back into dirt bikes if possible. This could be using something that represents dirt bikes such as handlebars, front forks, wheels, engine, chains, tire treads or tracks, etc. Our target audience are novice and amateur racers as well as recreational riders of all skill levels. Our customers are looking for good deals on great quality used parts so that they can keep doing what they love - riding bikes. They often needs parts fast so that they can make the next race or ride with their friends. The X games motocross event is one style of racing. Our customers also do a lot of trail riding and sand dune riding. Common motorcycles would be Honda CRF250, Yamaha YZ250F, etc. if you want to look up images. These are not street bikes.
Logo types to explore
Should be simple and clean. Should be memorable. Art/image should invoke image of cannibal and motocross dirt bike (motorcycle) at the same time if possible. This could be subtle. Should look cool on a t-shirt or as a sticker on a dirt bike. We want it to be memorable, but we don't want to alienate older customers by having something with blood or gore. We could use the idea of a motocross helmet and turn it into a cannibal mask or skeleton. We uploaded an image with Cannibal Cycle text. We like this style of font (please spell cheap correctly), but we need a character or artwork and other ideas.

And then… they selected a winner!
I had Barrios do two different T-Shirt designs for my company to use as brand wear. He did a fantastic job, was super workable and gave routine updates through the design process. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a graphic designer and will be using him in the future.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
