HeyPublisher.com
HeyPublisher.com is an online community-driven support service dedicated to helping writers better manage their literary lives.
Some of the services we offer include:
* Submission management and tracking
* Publishing contract negotiations
* Copyright and leased/sold Rights Management and tracking
* Archiving and versioning services
* MFA-style peer review and community feedback on works.
Authors, screenwriters, poets, and other 'literary artists'. This user base will use the online service to manage their submissions to publishers, manage the rights they negotiate away with those publishers, and will be the primary mechanism through which all of the author/publisher communications will take place.
The logo should contain the text " Hey Publisher " somewhere in it. This text need not be the main focus of the logo, however.
We like designs that emphasis the "Hey" part of our name, and less the "Publisher" part. Get creative : someone shouting, something that seems familiar (like RSS or Wifi logos), something that screams "Hey!!"
The logo will eventually be used on mailing labels and letterhead as well. Something to keep in mind...
To keep it simple I'll list things we like and don't:
Pro
- Clean
- Eye catching
- Simple
- Easily Recognizable
- Fun
- Inviting
Con
- Corporate
- Boring
- Chaotic
- Flat images
In short - we're looking for a logo that will convey what the business is about and be memorable when seen.
You're free to get creative with this. We have no pre-conceptions of what this should be.
Have fun!
