dightondesign.com got their new logo design by running a design contest:
ArgosTRAX needs a logo
Check out dightondesign.com's Logo design contest…
Logo needed for ArgosTrax, a software program for professional dog trainers to schedule appointments with the human and dog clients. Logo will be used on T shirts, website, software program, letterhead/business cards and postcards. Looking for dog and owner combo or paw print and hand print combo. Best if the two could be separated for other use in the program or for promotions. Once I learn how, this will be a guaranteed contest.
What's your vision?
My client is a software developer whom I have convinced to entrust his logo in the hands of the 99designs designers. I have talked up the great work that can come from the designers here at 99 designs. He is excited about giving me feedback throughout the contest. It would be best if the logo was long, not stacked on top of each other. But, open to color schemes, and all caps or no caps....logo should work in black and white, but because it will be heavily promoted via web, it seems you can be very creative.
Vector graphic in Adobe Illustrator (CS2 preferably), in layers so the elements of the logo can be separated for various usages. Best if the logo icon portion was simple enough to be an icon in the software program, too. Should work in black and white, too.
Clipart, must be original, nothing too cute, the dog professionals are mostly men, I'd want them to proudly display the logo
