The company is a financial advisor that is targeting small family owned businesses and families which need financial planning. Target audience will be business owners or head of household probably in 55 years old and up --- even 65 years old and up. Mostly male but females also. The company offers clients a range of financial services.

I am looking for a clean, simple, modern design logo in a san serif font that embodies the ethos of the Greek God Apollo (attributes below) and (if possible) a bit of clever messaging - something akin to the arrow between the "e" and "x" in FedEx or the smile under the "a" and "z" in Amazon. No theatrics like Apollo surfing on a cloud with a lighting bolt in his hand - think professional. The company provides an advisory service to clients with a financial and/or accounting need. If this is too challenging, then a staid design like the one of Apollo Management, Oaktree Capital or Bridgewater Associates (see links below) may do as well. No slogans. Also, I am resistant to the idea of incorporating color, but a dark blue and/or dark green has always tugged on the heart strings. I’m open to ideas on the type of logo that’s best for my brand.
