Aesop's Table Catering
We are a new company based in New York, catering to the tri-state area. We are two Chef's with a lot of passion for food, and love what we do. We pride ourselves in the exceptional culinary feasts we prepare, as well as providing exemplary service to our clientele. Our clients are our main priority.
A brief history of how we arrived with our Company Name... We have been in the catering industry for over ten years and during that time have worked for less than moral people. Our prior employers were driven by money and not by providing the best possible product. We want to wow our clients, whether they have a small budget or a large one.
Over a dinner conversation, while preparing paperwork for the company, we were frustrated and somehow remembered 'Slow and Steady wins the race.' This brought about further conversation of the timeless morals in Aesop's Fables. Suddenly, we had a eureka moment and discovered we would name the company AESOP'S TABLE. This said everything we wanted to say about the type of Company we are.
We do not want to isolate any potential clients with our logo and branding. That being said, we are looking to target a high-end audience through branding and keep them coming back with great food. We are realistic in knowing that the higher end market is drawn to chic, clever, stylized and sophisticated art. In our logo development we would like to keep this in mind.
When developing the logo please keep in mind that it will go on Letterhead, Business Cards, Menu's, our website, chef jackets - just to name a few. It would be useful is the text and art could be used separately for different applications.
We would like you to be a free and creative as possible. Please remember the logo will have to be reproduced on items other than paper, so please keep the amount of colors used at 7 or less. We would like to see the posts in both black / white and color.
We also would like to nod to the Aesop's Fable theme as our company is a play on words.
The finish art will need to be presented in and Adobe Illustrator file as well as a standard JPEG.
Please see attached some inspiration photos. We do not necessarily need the logo to involve the Tortoise and the Hare, there are many great Aesop's Fables feel free to be inspired by any of them.
