"JL Studio" is the business name for an independent, young, freelance interior designer. "JL" are the initials of interior designer Jacquelyn Lindsey. "Studio" is supposed to suggest that Jacquelyn does multiple types of design. Not only interior design.
JL Studio sells interior and exterior designs for residential and commercial spaces. JL Studio also gets commissioned to do paintings for clientele. The designs sold are not necessarily one specific style. Each design solution is done to satisfy the client's wants.
JL Studio currently has a very diverse clientele: old, young, African American, white, etc. So, it should be kept in mind that the design needs to appeal to a wide range of people. However, JL Studio is wanting to target client's that are in their early to mid 30's and have money to spend on interior design services.

I would like to have a logo design that is a cross between rustic/industrial and chic/sophisticated. Perhaps this can be done by using contrasting fonts. Or maybe this can be done by incorporating some texture into the logo design. Textures that I like and often work with are wood, stone, concrete, and iron. I am trying to communicate to my audience that I am a young, innovative interior designer with fresh ideas, but I can still work with the older, more traditional clients as well.
