An "alux" is the name given to a type of spirit in the mythological tradition of certain Mayan peoples. It's the Mayan equivalent of the Celtic leprechaun. An alux is meant for good luck.
I don't necessarily want a leprechaun in my logo, but I think the meaning of the word might help in the design.
