Create a compelling logo for Dorado Trade Group - an emerging commodity trading powerhouse.

We are a trading firm specializing in metals, energy and agricultural commodities. Our target audience is trading firms, hedge funds and other financial institutions.

Would like to also have a black/white/gray alternative version of the logo.

We are borrowing our name fromthe Dorado: a fast moving, aggressive and difficult-to-catch sport fish. It would be ideal to incorporate those themes into the design. We'd also like to incorporate the shape of their top fin into the logo. Since we're a commodity trading firm, the fin resembles a bar-chart to us and would like to see if the designers can play to that theme. It would be ideal to have the bar more upward from left to right, indicating and upward trend. A Dorado's colors are blue, green and gold. We prefer the blue and gold tones, but they don't have to match the pictures. More modern tones over primary colors, or colors of in the pictures, are preferred.
