Our company name started from chinese “王庭" which loosely translates to "The Wong Court" or “ King’s Court”. The first word has double meaning. The 2nd word has links to family/imperial court/ depending on where it is used. Hence, we picked the word Imperial instead for the english name as we feel that has a closer meaning to the chinese version.
We thought it would be useful to share the cultural meaning of our company name with designers.
