We are a sporting goods product review website. Think Wirecutter (www.wirecutter.com) for Sporting Goods. For each review there are 3 recommended products ((1)best value, (2) best for pros, (3) best for beginners) that we choose - hence the name... '3' for the win!. The target market are (1) sports enthusiasts who are looking for the best products to buy for their next competition, (2) newbies to a sport who are looking for guidance as to what to buy and what to look for in the buying decision, (3) sports enthusiasts who are looking to make a smart value purchase for an essential product they'll use extensively.
The brand mark should evoke fun, sporty, and clever. I really like clever designs that incorporate a brand symbol with unique typography. I really like the attached Free Fat Font - please use that type and experiment with different colorful implementations. I also love clever enclosures so encourage you to experiment with that. I do NOT want cliche sports imagery - the brand mark should be seen as clever. It should evoke fun and sporty without screaming SPORTS!
