Additional background information to consider: INGUARD is a business that values community, families and providing all children with opportunities needed to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives. For the past three years, INGUARD has sponsored free admission to the 13-24 Drive In to all children 12 years of age and younger, offering local families an affordable activity to enjoy all summer long. In 2011, the theater was in jeopardy of closing its doors when INGUARD’s CEO, Parker Beauchamp, joined forces with his wife Katie, parents and the Honeywell Foundation to keep movies reeling on the silver screen. Since then, the 13-24 Drive In has undergone a variety of renovations (including a brand new digital projector and playground), and introduced a new summer feature called “Retro Reels” (which shows classic “throwback” films like Grease, E.T., and Top Gun) to continue entertaining the Wabash community. With swings, a dome climber and a yard for games, the drive-in has become an unforgettable weekend experience for local families.
