How Gabeshulman started their illustration or graphics journey
Who are you known as?
Sinn Or Saint
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a sports supplement company launching our own brand line called sinn or saint. we are looking to reach the fitness-minded male 18-30. More specifically those who pride themselves on their appearance and would think the crosses were "cool," and/or the images could be something they could identify with - whether they like to live more on the edge or they are more of a straight shooter.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We need 2 crosses designed: one "evil" and one "good" to go along with the sinn or saint idea. the evil can be gothic and should have sharp lines and probably some black in it (but its part of a logo so needs to work in black and white anyway). It needs to speak of power and destruction.
The good cross should be light and give a good feeling when you look at it.
We've drawn a lot of inspiration so far from tattoos because they fit a lot of the same market we are trying to attract.
They should look modern (fairly sharp edges for sinn clean smooth edges for saint), and distinctive (because it is being compared to every other cross in the world).
We were thinking of having the Sinn Cross upside down and the Saint Cross with a halo, but are open to other ideas.
