Rebranding the Whole Life Challenge Podcast - need powerful artwork
Check out andyiH's Illustration or graphics contest…
The purpose of the Whole Life Challenge is to create a world in which people are responsible, aware, and willing to take courageous action toward a better life for themselves and their community. We do this through a 42-day, online and in-your-life, habit-forming game, that uses coaching, accountability, local communities, and gamification to integrate health and well-being into players' lives. Earning points and receiving regular guidance, players score themselves on 7 Daily Habits — Nutrition, Exercise, Mobility, Hydration, Sleep, Reflection, and Well-Being Practices. Built for stickiness (rather than "one-and-done"), the Challenge has a 50%+ repeat rate, with players reporting sustainable long-term health, fitness, and well-being improvements in areas like weight loss, sleep, recovery, lipid profiles, stress reduction, and a newfound feeling of empowerment over their health. Our target audience is anyone between the ages of 35 and 60 (currently we have 80/20, female/male ratio) who is dissatisfied with life as it is, have fallen out of shape and/or out of health, who want to take action toward leading a longer, healthier life. Different types of people join: - people who remember "the glory days" when they were fit, healthy and happy, and just want some of that back - leaders of their family who want to bring a greater level of health to their household. - People who just want to be on the path to super-wellness, and super longevity with others who are on the same path. - people who have ceased taking action or who have given up hope, who want to be part of a large community of people committed to taking positive action in their lives. - people who are stressed out (from business, family, work, whatever) who need a reset - people who suffer from a lack of regular, restful sleep and recovery - people who are struggling with a chronic condition (pre-diabete/diabetes, heart disease, cancer, etc), - people who are chronically sick or injured.
What's your vision?
I'm looking to design cover art for my podcast that is associated with the Whole Life Challenge. Here are the things you need to know: - The NEW name of the podcast is "Breaking Ordinary". - Subtext is either "With Andy Petranek" or "A Whole Life Challenge Podcast" (haven't decided yet) - I have about 150 episodes already that I've done over the past 2 1/2 years under different names. Check www.wholelifechallenge.com/podcast. These episodes will be folded in under the new name. - The mission of the Breaking Ordinary Podcast is to help listeners start to see where they have settled for "ordinary" in their lives. No one sets a goal of "being ordinary" and yet when people really start to look at their lives, they see that they've often settled for it. Guests on the show are of two types: - those who have inspiring stories to tell of their own - ones that required them to "break ordinary", or - those that have specific expertise in health, life, fitness, or well-being, who can help provide insight, steps, and ideas for listeners to learn from, experiment with and adopt as their own.
I am open to podcast art that is just font and lettering based but would also like to see graphic ideas. My preference is for graphic designed artwork that displays something related to "breaking" or "ordinary", but doesn't overshadow the text. I do not want to use photographic images in the design. The Breaking Ordinary podcast is independent of the Whole Life Challenge brand. It will live on the Whole Life Challenge website, but it is a separate product, adjunct - an additional resource for participants of the Challenge. As such, it can have it's own, different look. All that said, I'd like to use the WLC colors and/or fonts if possible. I'm open to the use of our WLC logo as an option... not required at all. I'm attaching our style guide just to give you an idea of the colors and design style that we've used to create what we currently have on our website.
