We wren't sure what we wanted and erz pinned it down directly with the first design proposition.
Great to work with and a creative designer.

AnywhereCommerce enables software developers to quickly add mobile payment acceptance to their applications. We sell also the card readers to offer a complete solution.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We need 2 versions (1 horizontal for desktops and 1 vertical for smartphones) of an architecture diagram of our TaaS (Terminal-as-a-Service) solution. I attach a pdf that shows both version on page 2 and 3. On the other pages, I include sample graphics of what we like. We want to have small people in it to add emotion (as you will see in the samples). The way people can fit in the diagram is having them holding a credit card and paying at the card reader, the device or the cart. An option (not mandatory) is to add some subtle animation like in https://www.rydoo.com/en
In the diagram on page 2 and 3:
The TaaS platform is a Terminal-as-a-Service online cloud-based platform that allows adding payment capability to any software. That platform is already integrated with the middle part sections of the diagram: The card reader, any devices (smartphone, tablet or computer) and cart from eCommerce Website. The last part, the Payment Processors, are all the entity that manage the transactions (payment services providers, acquirers, card brand network and card issuers).
You can use part of our logo (attached) as we did on page 2 and 3 or you can draw it to fit the look and feel or the graphic you will create, your choice. The area around the diagram is white as most of the examples provided.
