Who are you known as?
Sunyata Movement Studio Inc.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am a Feldenkrais MethodⓇ practitioner - basically, you can think of me as a movement expert in somatic education - sort of like physiotherapy/physical therapy but NOT. I work with people hands on (again, think massage therapy or PT but NOT), as well as teach group classes called Awareness Through MovementⓇ lessons. Most of my clients are women aged 30 -60, but it needs to be fairly gender neutral as I still do see a lot of men, and even young children. I put my industry as being physical fitness only because its the closest I can come to describing what I do.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I'm creating a new website using the New Kajabi platform and so need two pictures for the top of my website pages. One will go on all pages of my website as part of my brand, and the other will be at top of my "store" page where all my digital programs will be displayed. I've attached my logo. Please keep those colours in mind! "Sunyata" means "limitless" or "unbound". Sunyata is a word used by zen practitioners. Hence the Enso symbol in my logo (In Zen Buddhism, an ensō (円相 , "circle" ?) is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create. The ensō symbolizes absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe, and mu (the void).) However, no meditation imagery or iconography please. Its just to give the feel of mindfulness in motion and that all have limitless possibility to move with greater freedom with natural, flowing ease. I want to give a feel of simple flowing natural elegance and movement. And to leave the viewer with a sense of feeling calm yet inspired --- relaxed alertness.
