We are an early stage venture capital fund. We take our investor's capital and invest it into high growth technology companies.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are looking for an illustration that captures both the work we do and the meaning of our name. We will use this illustration as the sole element on our landing page.
Alrai (Gamma Cephai) is the name of the future North star (it will replace our current North star Polaris due to Earth's movement). So it is a guiding point in the future.
As startup investors, we also see ourselves as people who guide the investors to make the right decisions by picking companies that would be valuable in the future.
Alrai also means shepherd in Arabic.
In the light of all these, we want to have an illustration that would portray a shepherd (wise guide) in the desert that would look into the sky (the future) at a starry night. Among all the stars, he stares towards Alrai to take it as a guiding point.
It might be cool to also have slight movement in the illustration (ie stars shining, shepherd's robe moving).
Other notes
It would be cool to have a line or 2 on the illustration to communicate the message of the illustration more clearly. (ie. talking about Alrai as future true North) "Alrai Capital - Your guide to the future"
