Games & Recreational
We are the developers of iDestroy, a fun little sandbox game in which you kill bugs with over 60 different weapons. It's available on iOS and Android.
What's your vision?
We'd love to have a new icon for our iOS and Android game iDestroy! The new icon design should convey iDestroy's gameplay visually and make it clear that it’s about killing bugs with dozens of crazy weapons and plenty of blood and bug gore. What we want from the icon, in order of importance: 1.) it should stand out from other icons, especially when viewed on the iOS app store on a device. A bright-colored icon background will probably work best... 2.) it should communicate the game’s content and gameplay in a clear way. Maybe (these are just suggestions, not musts) by featuring the clearly recognizable silhouette of an insect and a weapon like grenades, guns, or an explosion. The game features a lot of blood (red), so the icon should also communicate that. Our current iOS icon has a triangular shape, but you don’t have to keep that style, feel free to be creative! Our target audience is mostly male and between 12 and 18 years old. Major competitors are on iOS: Ant Smasher and Kick the Buddy, Kick the Boss. Style: We like the style of our current Google Play icon more than the iOS one, check out the link below. For our current icon designs, check out iDestroy on the App Store and Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Fluchtpunkt.iDestroy https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/idestroy-free-destroy-bugs/id309689108?mt=8 For more info about the game’s content, feel free to download the free version on Android or iOS or check out the game’s description text and screenshots on the iOS App Store. IMPORTANT: When submitting a design, please place your icon in a screen shot of the iOS app store showing other app's icons. Please use a screenshot of the App Store on the device, not of iTunes on the Desktop. It's important that we can see how noticeable and clear your design looks in comparison to other icons out there. The final icon should be delivered as a PSD and PNG in these resolutions: 1024x1024 512x512 57x57 (legacy iOS) 72x72 (ipad) 114x114 (retina iOS) Delivery in a vector format is OK too.
