ppoints got their new flash animation by running a design contest:
$300 - Flash intro design for new 2.0 site
Check out ppoints's Flash Animation contest…
This contest is for a very short flash intro for a new site that has not yet been released. The intro will illustrate a very general "how it works" demonstration.
What's your vision?
Accepted File Formats: FLA, PSD The site will be an Online trading/marketplace. Target audience will be similar to eBay buyers/sellers. Since this site has yet to be released, very few details can be given regarding the details in this stage of the contest. Screenshot of website: Please see the example storyboard I have made: http://220.127.116.11/CSSThemes/howitworks.asp The flash intro will be added in the blue place holder (515px X 320px)(color can vary). The intro does not require any sound. The "how it works" diagram should be similar to: http://www.authorize.net/resources/howitworksdiagram/ I used the diagram as an example of how the arrows and the steps work. The content will be completly different than the example given. Our site will require 5 steps total. If you wish to create a mock-up, please just use "step1, step2, step3...etc.." with some 10-15 word filler text explaining the steps. Sorry for being so vague. Since this is a start-up site, we are very careful about releasing any details before the site is actually released. Please see this image for a design concept: Please provide a 'mock-up' flash intro using the limited information I provided. The contest winner will be provided with the full storyboard and text details for final design.
