How Gbennett1 started their custom wordpress themes journey
We are a UK based company that provides fire engineering consultancy which involves working with architects and property developers to develop approaches to meeting building fire regulations. We also provide fire risk assessments and fire safety training to other businesses.
What is your industry? - Fire engineering and safety consultancy.
How is your company different from your competitors? - Innovative and forward thinking with a focus on customer service.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Audience will be made up of business to business clients. Primarily focused on architects, property developers and facilities managers. These are most likely to be middle-aged male clients.
Our market is existing although reluctant to pay for our service / part with their finances. there is a legal obligationfor facilities managers to carry out our risk assessment and training services and a financial gain for adopting our engineering services for architects and developers.
Wordpress theme to cover all Wordpress page types (pages & blog).
It is important that we present a professional and innovative engineering focused.
We would like a clean, professional design making it simple for customers to find the content they are looking for.
Clear links to website pages (contact us, about us, etc.).
Our current holding page (http://www.braidwoodfire.com/) has a 'wispy' smoke effect in the top right hand corner that we like.
The current colours that our business uses can be seen here: http://www.braidwoodfire.com/
We like current colours but are not tied to the design.
It is important that we are able to upload our logo to the wesbite. This logo will change (the tagline 'the word in fire' will definitely be dropped) in the coming months but can seen in the top left here: http://www.braidwoodfire.com/
We would like to be able to incorporate photos in the header or similar, that can be quickly changed to refresh the appearance of the website. These might be iStockphotos etc.
We do not want to see a 'fire' based design with flames etc. No images of firefighters, hoses, fire extinguishers or fire machines etc.
The initial main pages that we will be creating are:
- Contact Us
- About Us
- What We Do
- Corporate & Social Responsibility
