What's your vision?
DESIGN We're seeking a 2 color funky cityscape design in the attached sort of style. No company name or any text please. We would love to see your variation of the inspirational images provided and include skyscrapers, buildings, cars, signs, traffic signals, etc. SPECS: File Type- Final must be in vector format (.ai or .eps) using the template provided, create artwork on the layer titled “Artwork”. Illustrations are screenprinted onto products and for details to show up on the screens they need to have a line thickness of at least 0.5pt. The minimum gap to prevent the ink from filling in is 0.5pt. We also request that the artwork is not separated or trimmed. Ink- Illustration must be in 1 or 2 spot colors / PMS Solid Coated No Pantone Process Black - use CMYK 0 0 0 100 No Pantone Hexachrome No Metallic, Pastel, or Neon Printing- Items are printed using a screenprinting method, therefore it’s important to utilize layers accordingly when designing artwork. Lines and details should be above the 0.5 pt stroke minimum to prevent filling and bleeding. Sizing- Final imprint areas will be provided in a separate document titled 726XX.AI and/or 883XX and can be placed into the 72641.PSD and/or 88344.PSD / 88361.PSD for virtual mock-ups. While sketching, plan for a 1” gap for all products. Please avoid designing so that the final has any flat edges or is rectangular. Although this may be greatest use of the imprint area, it draws attention to the limitations and can cheapen the final appearance of the product. Please also keep in mind that this design should be versatile to be used on a variety of bodies (mug, water bottles, coffee cups, tumblers).
Our artwork is printed using a screen printing method, so please keep this in mind when creating the artwork. Visit the link below for tips: http://justcreative.com/2008/12/04/how-to-prepare-t-shorts-for-printing/
