GrdDog got their new button or icon by running a design contest:
'Seal of Approval' Graphic Design
Check out GrdDog's Button or icon contest…
We are looking to change our seal of approval, which (at this point) is really just a small banner. This seal should be unique, professional, and remind the viewer of our website.
What's your vision?
There should be 2 versions (for dark and light web sites) and 2 types of seal for this contest. 1st Seal: Approved Portal - This is for websites that use our information to determine which programs they will promote. 2nd Seal: Certified Affiliate Program - This seal is for Affiliate Programs that we have certified through our certification board process. There are many 'seals' out there on the internet and we would prefer quality designs that are unique and work well on 99% of the websites out there (i.e., backgrounds should not be black, white, etc... transparent would be best). Additionally, the seal should scale very well. Many websites cannot put large seals onto their websites. The seal may be as small as 100x100. Our current seals are scalable to 120x60 at the smallest size.
- Seal graphics should coincide with the site them and remind viewers of our site. Our logo is very recognizable and can be used or even improved upon with your own design - Seal MUST be resizeable and should scale down with the text remaining visible and readable - Tagline for 'Approved Portal' will just be 'Approved Portal' - Tagline for 'Certified Affiliate Program' will be 'Certified Program' - Color scheme can be unique as long as the seal reminds the viewer of our website in some manner (even if that is a visible URL in the graphic)
- A regular rectangle banner with no character - A copy of our logo placed onto a simple graphic
