We are a technology company that focuses on improving patient healthcare and processes
What's your vision?
We need 10 icons designed for a 4x3 touchscreen LCD screen that is included in one of our products. This device will be placed in many locations throughout a hospital including but not limited to patient rooms, hospital hallways, nursing stations, medication rooms, and linen rooms. The icons need to compliment the touchscreen background colors and buttons. All icons will be on a background of color 0, 102, 153 (RGB). See attached information for mood board, background color, and existing LCD touch screen button examples. Icon requirements: • 8 bit – 256 colors • 38x38 pixels • Works well on top of background color: 0, 102, 153 (RGB) Output: We require the final icons to be provided in eps and ai formats. The icons should look good converted to 38x38 bitmap. Using the above requirements please design the following 10 icons: Icon 1: Thumbs up or another type of icon that represents user likes/approves of something Icon 2: Thumbs down or another type of icon that represents user does not like/disapproves of something Icon 3: Red Octagon with letter on top C that fills most of octagon Icon 4: Yellow Circle with a representation of a hospital bed with only head of bed raised to approximate 30-45 degree angle (see: http://images.ddccdn.com/cg/images/en1298997.jpg for an example of bed) Background shape and background shape color should be the same for icons 5 - 10. Background shape should not be an octagon or circle and the background shape should not be colored red or yellow. Square will probably be the optimal background shape since it allows for large space in which to work. I’m open to other suggestions. Icon 5: Fall risk (think of something close to this type of person http://www.blogymate.com/BlogPost1/BlogyMate.com13201117820.jpg) Icon 6: Syringe with needle and red circle with line through it and an easily visible letter L. This icon is caregiver know that no sticks in LEFT arm. Icon 7: Syringe with needle and red circle with line through it and an easily visible letter R. This icon is will let caregiver know that no sticks in RIGHT arm. Icon 8: Black sunglasses and lenses (representing sight impairment). Icon 9: Ear with circle and line through it. (representing hearing impairment) Icon 10: The letters: NPO If you need additional information or clarification for the information provided in the icon brief please ask!!
