I'm an indie iOS/Mac developer passionate about solving complex problems with a simple solution. My motto is "Sratch your own itch!" and that is exactly why my products rock.
I am looking for a designer that is creative and does not only do the job that he or she is asked to do. Input from the designer is essential for me as the designer is best at what he does (I am a coder after all).
What is this about?
My iPad application, Tagalicious, imports images from Aperture and lets the user rate the images on their iPad. The ratings can then be synced back to Aperture. This provides a solution for photographers who don't want to spend hours and hours in front of their computer screen sorting through images.
My requirements are twofold:
1 - I am looking for a clean, crisp iPad application icon. I especially like the style of these designs:
In short, the design shouldn't be too complex and cluttered. It should have a 3D aspect to it and reflect the purpose of the product or at least hint to its function.
2 - Because Tagalicious communicates with your Mac for importing images, I have developed a helper application that runs on the Mac. For this I am looking for an icon that is almost identical to the iPad icon, but it needs to be compliant with Mac OS X UI. In other words, iPad/iPhone icons need to be square and opaque, whereas Mac OS X icons can have transparency in the background (take the iTunes icon as an example, square on iPad, round on Mac OS X).
IMPORTANT: All artwork needs to be original!
