New Application Icon for Productivity Software

I build simple software.

I have a simple todo management application, TodoPaper (http://widefido.com/products/todopaper), which has been very successful. I am about to release version 2 of the application and would like to update the icon to a new look and feel. I want to focus on a new, clean icon. Would really like something clever and stylish. The next version of the app do have some small design modifications. Basically a general simplification and clean up of the UI. You can see some screenshots and video on my blog: http://blog.widefido.com/ The icon to be designed an application icon for the next version of TodoPaper. I need it designed in the appropriate pixel resolutions of 512x512, 64x64, and a 16x16 favicon. I would like the icons delivered in Photoshop or Illustrator format. I am open to a number of possibilities of design approach. It can be semi-realistic or abstract or even completely textual. I would like to focus on green as a primary color, however, am open to your interpretation. Checkmarks are fine, but would prefer to move away from that as the primary mark in the icon. I do like a textual approach, using "T" as the mark. Feel free to explore all realms. I really want to go for the modern application icon approach. Smooth lines, gradients, nice use of color. But overall, I would like it to be simple and reflect the overall feel of TodoPaper. With this, I have included the current icon, as well as a couple of icons that I like, that may help get you inspired.
