WSteward got their new business card by running a design contest:
Design clean & creative stationary for a fast-growing agency

Business & Consulting
We're looking for our stationary to match the look and feel of our website. Header font is 'Fjalla One' (this font could only ever be used in ALL CAPS): http://www.1001freefonts.com/fjalla_one.font Body copy is 'Average' (can be used however you wish): http://www.1001freefonts.com/average.font Both are free downloads. Our colour palette is as follows: http://imgur.com/a/J9A46 & our brand's primary colour is #F1831D. We tend to use #333333 for copy on a light background, and #7f8c8d -> #ffffff for copy on a dark background. You can see how we're using colour on our website, and align the stationary with this. We're looking for a clean, consistent design, that stands out. We position our service as "premium", and compete on quality, not cost. We've decided to go for business cards with rounded corners, also, to align with the website's style. Avoid using cartoons, etc. Feel free to use stock photography if you feel it adds to the design, for example you can see on our homepage how we've used a darkened image as a background for the top of the page. For the Business Cards, please see this template for sizes & guidelines for bleeding: https://support.moo.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/202514770/UK_Rounded_Corner_Business_Card_Landscape.psd (Landscape) https://support.moo.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/202470664/UK_Rounded_Corner_Business_Card_Portrait.psd (Portrait) Business cards should be two-sided. For the note cards / compliment slips: https://support.moo.com/hc/en-gb/article_attachments/201480554/Postcard-Landscape-Template.psd (Landscape) and https://support.moo.com/hc/en-gb/article_attachments/201480564/Postcard-Portrait-Template.psd (Portrait) Letterheads: https://support.moo.com/hc/en-gb/article_attachments/201388100/Letterhead-Portrait-Template.psd There are other formats available, if you'd like them, on this page: https://support.moo.com/hc/en-gb/sections/200570950 (Relevant categories are "Business Card (Rounded Corners)" and "Notecard Templates", and "Letterhead templates". Printing will be full-colour for all the stationary. Feel free to experiment with some of Moo's "premium" formats, if you feel they'd be a great fit for the design (e.g. spot gloss / raised spot gloss, etc) -- although if you're going to submit designs that include these, I'd recommend them as a "version 2" of a "standard" business card submission.
Brand name to include on the business card
What to avoid
Nothing in particular, just be sure to stay within the guidelines around colour/font indicated. Feel free to use a white version of our logo also (i.e. white text instead of black text for the "bloom" part) if you feel it suits the design better (or perhaps could vary it on each side if you think it suits). All designs submitted MUST meet the guideline templates outlined previously, from the Moo website. Any designs which don't have the right bleed margins or size will be automatically rejected. If you have any questions about what's required for printing, please see the Moo guidelines here: https://support.moo.com/hc/en-gb/sections/200572464-General-Design-FAQs (everything is answered on that page) In terms of File Formats, ideally we'd like an editable layered PSD, so we can adjust it for different employees on the team, and easily get new items printed as the company grows.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Business card starts at $269.
