How Geneen started their business card journey
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the business card?
We want something cool and fresh. A business card that people will think is awesome and want to keep! We are totally open to ideas. You can use the whole logo or just the "star puck" part of our logo. We cover the National Hockey League, minor leagues, etc. (ICE hockey!) We also travel to and cover pro Russian hockey quite a bit, so we have been using the star a lot. When we ask for interviews we are trying to convey a sense of cool and exclusivity -- our interviewees are VIPs. As for colors, we are using white; blue: CMYK: 60/30/0/80 RGB: 25/50/76 Hex: #19324C; burgundy: CMYK: 10/90/60/70 RGB: 95/9/26 Hex: #5F091A. The typeface used in the “Hockey VIPs” logo is Fedra Serif A (Book weight).
When we search "cool business cards" on google, there are so many exciting designs. We want something that will attract attention when given to players, coaches, and execs in the business.
We would love a cool backside design as well.
Brand name to include on the business card
Hockey VIPs Magazine
What to avoid
We want to avoid boring. The hockey culture is a bit conservative, but we are trying to stand out a bit from traditional hockey reporters -- but not so much that it's a turn off.
