The job description was to improve upon a black and white logo image by the use of subtle design and colour accents without losing the sophistication and appeal of the existing logo. A tricky assignment. I particularly liked the fact that Nina.T did not bombard me with quantity, but provided high quality contributions every time. The designs had the level of restraint and subtlety required so I would rate Nina.T very highly as a designer with an ability to understand the client and view the challenge with considered creativity. Highly recommend.
Great work -- very nice and unique design. Thank you!

The designer was able to take the images I posted as inspiration, details about the local community and create the perfect logo. The designer made changes as requested in a timely manner and worked until the logo was perfect.
I loved the process... The designer was a true professional and delivered a creative and unique idea for my book cover!
Picasso Is an amazing artist. Out of near 400 submissions his stood our right away and we had zero design revisions for him. He read our brief and delivered exactly what we wanted. Couldn't have been easier. He provided us with a unique yet classy business card in an amazing amount of time. I would highly recommend workiing with him and I will definitely be working with him in the future.
How mmre.2654 started their business card journey
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the business card?
Yes. We already have a logo. The logo provided is an earlier contest winner and provided the visual simplicity and sophistication we wanted. The winner is no longer designing so we need another designer to pick up on the project.
The quill represents tradition and professionalism (like a lawyer) in a clean and simple design. The font is timeless and classical. The logo projects the sophistication we seek, but it is a foundation rather than a finished "look". We wish to take it to another level with how it is presented in our branded items like business cards and FOR SALE signs. Beyond the purity of the simple black and white logo, we believe another level of creativity can be applied. We are open to any arrangement or scaling of the logo and expect the presentation may be enhanced with the subtle use of monochromatic colours or framing or positioning. Our initial thoughts were towards a black or dark colour with the introduction of a grey/mushroom or a gold/bronze but we are open to other inspiration. We are open to the introduction of any colour or design that broadcasts skilled professionalism. We feel that is unlikely to be a background dominated by bright colour.
Our benchmarks are NOT real estate brands. We look at architects, boutique industries, bespoke, specialty companies. We wish to differentiate from typical real estate brands as much as possible.
The contest is categorised as a business card contest but is more a business card/For Sale sign contest as the design will be translated to visual design for all signage, particularly a FOR SALE sign which as outdoor signage is the most important beacon for the brand. So this is not just a small card layout contest so much as a contest to find the "look" that will leap from all of our branded images. FOR SALE signs are 1200mm x 900mm and so provide a different canvas for design.

What to avoid
Over busy or complex designs. Avoid additional Real estate motifs, imagery or references. eg keys, roof lines etc.
Just plain silhouette black and white - looking for shades of interest (prefer monochromatic/classic, timeless)
