We are a premium financial advice company working with (mostly London based) moderate to high net worth individuals and families, highly focused on client outcomes and behavioural coaching, encouraging clients to dream about what is possible in their lives. This behavioural focused approach has been proven to have by far the biggest benefit to clients long term plans, rather than endless detail on funds, charges, analytics etc.. Clients are confident that the detail is looked after in the background as we are enabled with the best technology and client support. The brand will be of a premium, personable and aspirational company but very approachable, i.e more casual clothing, premium office space, moving away from the historically stuffy 'suits and tie' image of financial advice. The imagery that springs to my mind when thinking about ‘what is possible’ is snowboarding high in the mountains, clear blue water in the summer, being outdoors, pusuing hobbies, focusing on the actual important things in life. “You were not born to pay bills and die”. We are there to help clients build a dream plan and see a way towards it. “The ultimate goal of money is never having to think about money.” VisionQuest is the main, core brand which drives the whole ethos of the company, and will be used when dealing one to one with clients The website will be 'VQAGroup.com' (Group conveying larger things to come and partner tie-ups) so ideally we need a logo for that as well. VQA Group will be the more classical brand when dealing directly with some private banks and higher end intermediaries, who might not have time to grasp the underlying meaning around VisionQuest and just want to put a super premium brand in front of their clients. VQA Group may also likely be the logo used in the email signature, although open to options on this.
I have sketched a few ideas that I (not a designer) came up with on a flight. The pictures with mountains in them are the ones that really conjure up the feeling of dreaming big and thinking about the important things in life. This again should be the feel of the brand, although there does not need to be mountain or sea in the logo! I have put ticks next to the rough sketches that I personally like the best so far (in the first attachment).
