We need a modern yet powerful design for a law firm

We are a law firm that provides a variety of legal services for personal injury matters (motor vehicle accidents, falls, defective products, animal bites, etc), business law matters (contracts, business formation, etc), criminal law matters, and family law matters. My target audience is the Las Vegas community.

I think I like navy blue, gray/silver, white, and black colors, but I am open to alternatives from the designers. I'd like my logo and brand to appear modern, knowledgeable, and professional, yet young, current, friendly, and approachable. I'm a younger attorney, and as such, I'd like my brand to counteract that by demonstrating a strong and trustworthy presence. I've been contemplating a logo using the letter "R", the letters "RLF", and some type of additional logo that resembles the law practice, strength, wealth, prosperity, etc. I'd like the logo, then either to the right side of it or below it, the words "Roebuck Law Firm." Perhaps "Roebuck" on top of the words "Law Firm." Some samples of the R and a potential logo are attached. I'm open to seeing what other types of logos the designers could propose. A sample of a brochure with colors that I find appealing are also attached. However, I am completely open to other colors. If a designer thinks red, for example, would be a good color to use to achieve the look I am going for, then by all means, please propose such a design.
