logo for new company that sells high-quality greeting cards. we do not do any digital cards--all cards are paper. customers mail about 45% of the cards they purchase --the reminder they leave to surprise a friend or family member (ion someone's desk, on a porch, in a bag dropped off with something else in it). whereas most card companies' sales are 80% burthday cards and 20% all other, our company sells 80% cards people cam share anytime of year to show appreciation for friends and family and share a chuckle--in other words the cards are "just because.". customers view themselves as thoughtful and get as much (or more) joy out of writimg amd sharing a card as the recipient. the owner loves the color fire engine or deep reds and will be partial to designs with at least *some* red. however, designs do not need to be "all or mostly" red. most of our cards are funny or cute. so many different directions could be taken, and any design won't have all of the features. simply listing ideas to fuel your creatuve process very interested in what something handrawn would look like. scallopeed edges (as in scalloping on a postage stamp) might be interesting.

as an example, i did a logo contest for a greeting card company. got 133 okay designs. This artist researched greeting card tremds and that sellers make more on high-encards--and that there is a move toward 3d cards. His design was our logo as a 3d card itself. Brilliant!!!
