We are an independent Coffee Shop located in Querétaro, México, that is about to open its doors. Our mission is to create a meeting point between the top quality High-Altitude mexican coffee which is grown and roasted artisanally by local small producers, and the habit of reading, the music, contemporary culture, graphic art and culture in general with a fresh, friendly atmosphere and unpretentious approach to the art. We offer a really high quality coffee along with many other beverage options either hot or cold like teas, fruit infusions, frappé drinks, smoothies and soft drinks. As for the food, we offer a variety of snacks, pastries and crepes, all of them can be either sweet or salty Our drinks are prepared guided by top quality barism procedures and standards so we can highlight the qualities and profile of the coffee and tea according to the presentation our customer asked. In addition, our baristas have training in matching food options to accompany each drink so we can make accurate suggestions to our customers and guarantee their satisfaction and delightful experience. Regarding the presentation of our drinks and food in the plates and cups, we look for a practical and fresh presentation but in a careful and visually attractive way that reminds the client that he´s about to eat or drink a good quality, well prepared, product. We try to present our product in that way that makes you enjoy it even before you try it. As for the contact of the Coffee Shop with the art, it is established by a couple of bookshelves we have with a diverse collection of books that the customer can read for free while having their coffee or tea and a snack. We also organise book exchange, independent artist book and art presentations/expos, independent music acoustic sessions, offer our space for artist to give workshops, and public interviews to the independent artists. Our customer is a college student or young professional 20-35 both, male and female. Enjoys quality beverages and food, and is interested in reading, music or art in any of its expressions, he´s also open to new art proposals and contemporary art. Is a genuine, open, curious and dynamic person that is willing to explore his personality and interests without minding what other people say. Belongs to mexican socioeconomic level B and C+, which is middle class and upper middle class. He uses at least one electronic gadget daily and is really active in social media, especially Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. He uses this tools to comunicate with friends and family and to share his activities, places and photos, and also his impressions about them. He tends to trust, and to participate, in web recommendations for places and restaurants to visit. The main atributtes that can describe our brand are: -Professional: By selling a fairly traded coffee and by our focus on quality in our insumes, preparation, presentation and events organization. -Creative: By opening a spot for the reading, book exchange, art diffusion, expos and artistic work. -Style: By maintaining our detail-cared visual presentation of the products, cups, plates and facilities even though trying to keep it fresh and natural. Friendly: By accepting and being willing to know and promote the diversity of ideas and quality art expressions without prejudices. And also by having as one of our main goals that the time a customer spend in our shop are happy moments and good experiences that help him enjoy and enrich his day. If our Brand was a person he would be: A young adult around 28, nice fun curious and simple. He´d be really passionate about what he does and this passion leads him to always aspire to the best quality on his work, so he keeps studying and learning continuously. He loves reading, listening to music, traveling, exercising and having fun with his friends by appreciating small simple things. He´d be that one friend with whom you feel comfortable when you tell him your plans, dreams, aspirations or projects because you know he´d listen to you and help you get more inspired. He´s a curious person that is really interested in the work of others and that likes to learn from them. In regards to his looks, he´d go for a comfortable, practical look but always worrying for reflecting a clean, sleek, professional look, without looking fake or pretentious.
Other color requirements
We´d like you to explore the contrast between a neutral dark close to black or dark brown (Maybe something similar to the HEX Color #212a2a) and a nice light color similar to white (Maybe something similar to the HEX Color #f3f4f2) For small details or the secondary element, we´d like you to use a brilliant orange (Maybe something similar to HEX Color #fe5000) this could help keep the logo a bit informal. The logo will be printed in cups, paper napkins, paper bags, mugs, plates, etc. (As you can see in the pinterest links we post as example) So it would be nice if the logo or a key element of it can be printed in a visual attractive way thanks to the contrast and without having to use more than 1 or 2 inks for it.
