The 2 Keys to Permanent Weight Loss
Ken is a land developer, but has had a keen interest in weight gain and weight loss for many years, and has been a student of human nature his entire life.
The book focuses on the fact that approximately 95% of people that lose weight , gain it back again. The success of the 5% that lose weight and keep the weight off is analysed, and a plan to emulate that success is presented.
Book cover type
The entire purpose of this book is to make money. So the title has to be as large as is reasonable, so it can be clearly and quickly read, and same for the subtitles. The cover has to convince the potential buyer that this book will help them lose weight and keep that weight off forever. They just have to buy the book and read it. A lot of overweight people have tried to lose weight many times and are sceptical of new weight loss methods. The cover needs to look good big, and it needs to also look good small, for thumbnails. It needs to evoke the feeling: Wow! I need to read that book! It will change my life. Size of book. 6" x 9"
What to avoid
Fuzzy, faded, or obscure hard to read lettering. Please note that this book is a remake of my first book, of which photos of the front and back cover follow. I'm not happy with the front cover of my first book as I don't think it would sell very well. I've never marketed it. So I'm adding some subtitles, and hopefully that will help. The photos on the front cover could be used on the new cover or you could have no photos, or photos of keys or of ???? I need to have the cover grab people and convince them that this book will help them lose weight. So they'll buy it.
