Hello :) thank you for taking the time to consider my ideas. Don't mistake my thoroughness for being picky. I just want you to have as many ideas to work off of to make your job easier :) I would like the cover to be very “Visual” and captivating. I have a few rough ideas to go off of but feel free to go off the beaten path and create something that has a similar effect. It is a more technical niche so I want the cover to look very professional yet poppy. I like exciting covers but I also like the super “minimal” style. No stock images of real people/things, please. You are the designer and I am open to your ideas.I also like when the title is incorporated with the elements of the cover. Idea #1: collage-style covers with lots of little elements that relate to the topic and a poppy title in the middle. with a cool font. potentially incorporating title with elements. Idea #2 title in the middle of Collage style cover. But the top, middle, and bottom of the cover have different colors/elements. Ex: title in the middle, the top half of book has a bunch of elements of graphs/charts. Element Colors fade to different color elements in the middle. With elements of presenting data to people. (potentially a board room, people conversing around a table with thought bubbles of charts). Fades to bottom section of cover with a different color and elements of company growth, taking action. Idea #3 (Might be difficult but cool concept)-author name can be small print. focus on title and visual. Person crouching down holding up a sign with a chart/graph on it toward a bunch of super tall standing/towering people that make the person feel super small. (to represent presenting to a bunch of execs in a board room) Possibly silhouettes. Maybe the towering people make up a majority of the cover. Potentially even the people's backs/torsos making up the front of the cover, and you can peer through the opening to someone crouching and holding up the same sign. Potentially looking over their shoulders down toward the person. (maybe a bead of sweat on their head" Retro/modern illustrative people. (potentially sillouettes) If you like one of these ideas Feel free to try and create one of these designs or be creative with something totally different :). Just looking for something captivating and eye-catching that paints a mental image of what's in the book. I will attach a link to the page it will be on so you can try and stand out from the rest. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=data+visualization&i=stripbooks&ref=nb_sb_noss This is the page my book will be on. Try and stand out from these while visually describing what the book will do for the reader.
