Book cover for Kindle eBook. Two versions in particular; however, I'm open to all interpretations.
(1) Young woman, side profile, prone on bed, from the shoulders on up. Eyes closed... "dreaming"... but with chin thrust upward, almost (but not quite) orgiastic, lips slightly parted... but not Bodice Busting or cheesy. Long dark hair. Lots of misty-gray 'atmosphere'... not terribly colorful... but with book title in LARGE red exotic lettering: DREAMER.
(2) Young woman's face, looking head-on with bright BLUE eyes that "follow" the reader... She has specific 'wild' looking face paint: three bright blue stripes daubed on both cheeks, and also a large black letter H (with the inner spaces filled with red paint) on her forehead. The upper part of her hair-do is elaborately braided with flowers, but the back of her hair falls loosely in brunette waves. However, she is supposed to be "obviously Caucasian"... not Polynesian, Asian, or anything remotely 'exotic'... (she's a young 'white toast' girl not more than 19 years old). Her shoulders are bare; no clothing appears in the image, but nothing lurid or too erotic.
Here is a quick synopsis of the story. Any questions, please DO email at heanyjw@wispwest.net or phone (406) 223-3932. Thank you:
DREAMER: When homely college student Stella Denton and nerdy professor Harry Vale are in the wrong place at the wrong time during a convenience store hold-up, the result turns deadly. A ricocheted bullet enters Stella’s brain, causing her to sink into a coma.
Although Stella seems unresponsive, she actually ‘awakens’ into the 9000-year-old world of Jarmo, a historical Garden of Eden that actually existed. In this altered state, the New Stella is beautiful with a desirable body, and one of the friendlier natives is a sexier Alternative Version of her old professor, Harry Vale.
Together in their alternate selves, Stella flourishes, especially when Harry teaches her the finer points of sex, romance, and passion. But is Jarmo and its delights actually real (albeit an alternative reality)? Or is it all just a dream, with Stella as the Dreamer… and are Jarmo (as well as the attractive/alternative Harry) only fabrications of her severely injured brain?
When Stella comes out of the coma unexpectedly, she must make the irrevocable choice between two lives… one of which may not really exist (and the choosing of which might lead to her obliteration). In this 17+ young adult contemporary romance, DREAMER explores the nature of Reality and Love, teaching us that neither are Absolutes… but only what we create for ourselves. Reality is what you make it — as is Love.
