Raising Backyard Chickens. Beginners guide to a healthy flock, boosting egg production and fresh eggs for life!
Daniel A. Hart
Raised in an Amish community until the age of 18. He traveled the United States working on farms before settling down closer to home on his own acreage. He has worked with livestock and chickens his whole life. He is extensively knowledgeable about living off the land and raising livestock due to his upbringing and has continued parts of that lifestyle throughout his whole life. He desires to help the reader get one step closer to sustainable living, helping fellow humans to be self sufficient with such uncertain economic times.
This book is a beginning guide for those who want to start raising chickens at the homes for eggs and poultry. It will cover common beginning questions such as: breeds, chicken coops & bedding, food/nutrition and egg 101. It does not go over the egg lifecycle, there is one chapter about raising chicks so they are ok to put on the cover but should not be the sole focus. Also, would prefer not to have barns on the cover (chicken coops a good option if you needed one) don't want the reader to think this can only be used on a farm.
Beginning and 1st time chicken owners who want to raise chickens on their land for eggs.
Ebook cover 5.5 x 8.5. Unique design. User friendly...don't want it to look overly complicated, want it to be easy to understand because the book is easy to understand.
What to avoid
Don't want photographed images (example: chickens wandering around in a yard)
