The Princess and the Fairy
Deborah Albers is a social responsibility expert and has traveled the world teaching and speaking. Deborah is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). Through the Paul and Deborah Albers Foundation, she and her husband have supported many charities that served as an inspiration for her books. She lives with her husband in Austin Texas. Her two daughters, and three grandchildren are never far away.
When a young princess is turned into a grasshopper, she is determined to find the fairy who did this to her and insist she change her back. To find the fairy, she chooses the fast but dangerous path to the other side of the pond. As she gets further on her journey, she realizes the decisions she makes lead to consequences, good or bad. In this story of hardship and gratitude we are reminded of the importance of kindness, courage, and learning from our mistakes.
Young readers, early elementary school.
Book cover type
A cover that will catch the eye of children. Soft, inviting, and makes them want to open the cover. Magical.
What to avoid

Working with iMAGIngarCh+ was a lot of fun. Communication is quick and easy. From my vague ideas, iMAGIngarCh+ designed a wonderful book cover. I am super happy with the result. Thank you so much!
