lubomira.kourteva got their new book cover by running a design contest:
Design a book cover for "Moonhold" - mystical poetry
Check out lubomira.kourteva's Book cover contest…
This collection of poetry is a lyrical, philosophical, mystical, sensual and spiritual exploration of love and vision. The poems are all untitled and the letters are all small caps symbolizing the string of letters as the necklace of life. Flowing from one page to the next, interchanging between Japanese minimalist style poetry and free verse longer style poetry, the story explores the intimacy in silent movement. The book is about the transformation of love from physical touch towards the sacred and spiritual. The title "moonhold" refers to how the waning is always held by the waxing, the importance of "holding space" through all changing phases, the shifts of perspectives, and the mysterious fertile world that lies beyond the veil of the seen.
