Have been teaching K-12 for 13 years and now in a leadership position for 4 years. Is writing this book because the education system has many flaws and has always been the same; techniques and examples can inspire teachers to become what the students really need.
Equity InSight is a book aimed to teach teachers the importance of equity in education and the implementation through Social Emotional Learning and Universal Design for Learning
Mostly teachers in their first years of teaching, or really good teachers with amazing leadership. US location mostly, Female.
Looking for creativity like in examples provided ("Building Equity" and "Social-Emotional Learning"), with eye-catching illustrations and colors. The name of the book is a "double meaning" #1 Equity In Sight: representing that equity is the target and can be achieved #2 Equity Insight: representing the knowledge acquired to achieve equity
What to avoid
I don't want boring stock images with simple designs and boring colors like in the "bad design" examples with white backgrounds ("Solving Disproportionality" and "Excellence Through Equity")
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their book cover.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
samuelobedcrue collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
