Attorney & Law
I write study guide books that help people study for the bar exam. I am trying to reach a highly educated audience (soon to be lawyers) and show them the value of my book and how it can help them prepare for the hardest exam of their life.
What's your vision?
I'm looking for a book design that is sophisticated, clean, modern, serious. I want it to convey the idea of success and trustworthiness since I am trying to help people pass a difficult exam. It should include a picture of a goat in it somewhere, as that is my signature. I have attached two goat images that could be used in the designed (I only want one goat image in the design, but there are two goat pics to choose when making your design). The book will be 8.5" x 11", and about 380 pages, so there will be a fairly thick spine to design, as well. In addition to traditionally styled covers, I also like covers where the graphics spread onto the spine and back cover, too. I do not plan on having a lot of verbiage on the back cover. Although the title should be the most prominent, it doesn't explain what my book is about. The subtitle is what describes the content of my book, so it should be fairly prominent as well. Author name: Jessica Klein, Esq. Title: The Multistate Goat Subtitle: The Essential Book of MBE Practice Questions
The two goat pics that I have which could be incorporated into the cover is (1) the pic of the goat in the pic titled "Goat 2", and (2) the pic of the goat that is in the pic titled "Goat 3" - the goat is on the right in the middle, with brown fur and horns that stick straight out.
