Book cover - book will be e-book and also would like to print copies of the book. Thinking of using BookBaby to publish my book. The book is titled 'Sell your business & retire happy' and I'm looking for a distinctive book cover to reflect this title which will be suitable for me to use on a platform such as Bookbaby. I am not tech savvy so if you could ensure the format is correct for Bookbaby - here is there spec from their website: Cover graphics must be submitted to us in any of the following formats: .png,.jpg,.tif. Cover size guidelines: At least 1400px wide Portrait or vertical rectangle shaped artwork Ð no squares We recommend a height/width ratio of 1.6 All images must be RGB and at least 72 dpi; we recommend higher quality. We require all image files for any part of your eBook to be supplied in RGB color mode. CMYK images are not accepted and cannot be delivered to our retail partners. When you take a photograph with a digital camera or scan an image using a digital scanner, the resulting file uses the RGB color mode so you will not need to convert these files. If you are using Adobe Photoshop and want to check the color mode of your file, you can do so under Image > Mode. We suggest making any necessary color mode conversions from CMYK to RGB before you start color/tonal changes or photo manipulation. The target market of my book is for successful business owners - age range will most likely be in the 50 to 70, and mainly male. Our corporate colours are black and gold so maybe link with those colours although happy to let you be creative. The target market would be classed as high net worth / affluent.
