The Vegas Anthology
Autistic and a self-described nerd, Hannah Marshall has been writing for as long as she can remember. The Vegas Anthology is her first published novel, but not her first published work. She has been writing on Archive of Our Own, a fanfiction website, since 2018. Her current place of residence is her home town of Hillsborough, North Carolina.
In 2014, three Las Vegas cops received a disturbance call at a warehouse. Things were never the same again. Originally published on Archive of our Own as "The Hounds of Vegas," The Vegas Anthology tells the story of a vibrant community. It reminds us of life's rollercoaster nature through heartbreak, marriage, and death. *Warning: this book contains non-graphic depictions and descriptions of sexual assault and suicide.*
Early 20's to late 50's. Fans of police procedurals, community anthologies, and the LGBTQ community.
Book cover type
The book is focused on people and life. Since many of the characters are also cops, I'd like to see siren colors incorporated somewhere (though doing so is not a major requirement). Another idea I have is a location. One of the story's main locations is a bar (designed like an American pub, not a sleek nightclub). Again, this does not have to be included, but it's an idea. Overall, I want people to have freedom of expression. If you think it would work, make it a design.
What to avoid
Even though the book takes place in Las Vegas, I don't really want to see neon light imagery. This includes fonts as well.
