BadgesOfHonor.Net
These banners will be used to market the game http://www.badgesofhonor.net on Google Adwords, and various other ad networks when we launch in coming months. Badges Of Honor is a military related text online multiplayer game. It encompasses all branches of the military (Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines, Coast Guard), Cops, Mercenaries, or anything with a badge. There are a large number of aspects to the game including battle, commerce, casino-style mini-games, battleship, controlling territory, and more.
Ages 16+ Who are a fan of online military-related online games. We dont target children so a more mature, yet exciting, design is what we are looking for. The designs should be action packed yet not cluttered. Banners should attract as many of the target groups (Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines, Coast Guard, Cops, Mercenaries) as you can without cluttering the designs. Its not that the banners need to use logos from these organizations, but we are trying to attract a wide-range of solider fanatic or those who may have loved ones in these groups. The people we are targeting will be passionate about one or more of these groups, so we have to be respectful with banner content while still selling an fighting/action game.
Banner ads should have a strong call to action. They need to inspire the viewer to click and come try the game.
We require the following banner sizes, and request that you only use the same layout for a maximum of two ads each.
300 x 250 Inline Rectangle
468 x 60 Banner
728 x 90 Leaderboard
120 x 600 Skyscraper
160 x 600 Wide Skyscraper
We're advertising a game, and the banners should indicate that and inspire people to want to come play and see what we have to offer.
ALL images used in the design must be of legal use. This generally means they come from istockphoto.com, stockphoto, shutterstock.com or other legal sources such as original art. We've had great entries in past contests which lost because the graphics used were copyrighted. We will not be offended if submissions have water-marks in place, as long as winning designs are without them. Warning: Internet Wallpapers you find on other sites are not e legal source of content.
Waiting until the last minute to submit your project will certainly lead to losing the contest.
Please review the following adword policies related to image ads.
