Business & Consulting
LittleBizSmarts and LittleBizSmarts.com provide training and resources for small business to create and market a web presence. Right now, that means that I provide training about how to build a website using WordPress and how to market that website using tools such as SEO and social media.
What's your vision?
Please see http://littlebizsmarts.com/. The website does not have all the content I would like to have on it yet, but it should give you a pretty good idea about what LittleBizSmarts is. Also, please pay attention to the colors of the website. Please be sure to use colors that will work with the colors already on the website. The scope of this project is to create banners that will be used to advertise my classes, similar to what you see at http://littlebizsmarts.com/shop/. You can see that I'm currently using some pretty ugly placeholders. I don't claim to be a designer:) The scope of this project includes the following deliverables: Product Banners and Video Banners 500px x 500px Banners for the classes that will be used as product images: 1. Get Online the Smart Way - Level 1 2. Get Online the Smart Way - Level 2 3. Get Online the Smart Way - Level 3 4. Get Online the Smart Way - Complete - this level includes Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 These banners will be used at several sizes, however the 500px X 500px size should be the largest size they will be displayed at. So I'm assuming they can be scaled down and still look great correct? Saying that, I'm not sure what the best file type to request is. I believe a PNG will work just fine. Please let me know if you suggest any other file types that might work better. 640px X 360px Video Banners 1. Get Online the Smart Way - Level 1 2. Get Online the Smart Way - Level 2 3. Get Online the Smart Way - Level 3 4. Get Online the Smart Way - Complete - this level includes Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 These banners should be exactly the same as the product banners except that they are a different size to work with my video player. I'm using 16:9 video As above, I'm assuming these images should also be PNGs.
As an example of what I'm after, please check out http://www.wp101.com/ and review what they use for their product images. I think they did a very nice and classy job of representing what is covered in their videos. Please be sure your work is totally unique and does not look like their solution except in the broadest sense. I want limited graphics and interesting typography. I don't what these banners to be too busy. Classy and subtle are words that would describe what I'm after.
