omfgLOL got their new banner ad by running a design contest:
Flash artwork needed for THUNDER!
Check out omfgLOL's Banner ad contest…
We're looking for a sweet header to use on our website. Size will be 768x180, and it will be in flash. Color and style is up to the designer, we're giving a bit of artistic freedom on this one. Just looking for something that kicks ass!
What's your vision?
Thunder Electronics is located in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. We give the best prices on the best electronics and cater to businesses large and small, with projects ranging from Point of Sale systems to 80 flat screen tvs in your sports bar.
- The company is Thunder Electronics. When the page loads, we want a lightning crash and some rumbling thunder. Then words will fly out towards the viewer. The words will be brand names of the electronics we sell. Here is a list, not all of them need to be used. I would like to see the actual logos from the brands used: - Sharp, Point Of Sale Systems, Samsung, Surveillance, Sony, Flat Screens (Plasma and LCD), Dell, Pro Audio, Peavey, Yamaha, Home Audio and Automation, and many more! - And of course, the animation should conclude with the words Thunder Electronics. If only part of the list is used, it should say "And more... all the name brands you love!" at the end of the sequence, before stopping with - "Thunder Electronics, Inc Minnesota's Wholesale Source". I would like to see some creativity applied to the words "Thunder Electronics" , since we don't have an actual logo. Also, I'd like to see the words fly at an angle, or around from behind a cloud or something, rather than straight out at the viewer. I am very open to seeing your ideas as well!!!!
I don't want a long contest.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
