I am a forex day-trader. I have an online course that I sell, and I blog and tweet about trading. I contrast the complexity of other trader's style to my very simple calm approach. I push the idea that you make it simple and yo can make it happen.

I would like my logo to be clean and clearly identifiable. The words Jennifer, Calm, and Trading could be tried. Or just my initial J. My image is feminine but not girly, simple, classy. I have a mental image/impression of a huge wave (ocean) welling up behind me. The idea is a giant powerful thing behind me as I calmly approach my work. If you can work with a wave of something that represents power, that would be great.
